April 2024 UCaaS Enhancements for Atlas

Product changes and fixes

On April 8, 2024, additional feature changes and fixes will be added to the Atlas customer lifecycle management portal to improve user experience and functionality.

Updates - UCaaS Services

Show extension assignment for Standalone Mailboxes in Features & Services

When a Standalone Mailbox is assigned to an Auto Attendant, Hunt Group or Call Queue in the Customer Administration Portal, the assignment details will now show Atlas. If a service remains unassigned, the extension information will remain blank. This makes it easier to identify an unused service for cancellation.

Updating sales order age constraint on entering LNP orders

When creating Customer LNP Order in Atlas, and then choosing Sales Order Number to associate the port order to as a reference, sales orders were previously filtered to only the most recent 120 days for orders. This has now been expanded to one year in case you still have customers that are migrating numbers much longer after the original sales order.

Panasonic TGP600 end-of-life notice

Before December 31, 2024, all Panasonic TGP600 devices will need to be replaced as they will no longer work with our service after that date. Panasonic has exited the PBX device business and no longer produces these devices.

The replacement device is the Yealink W76P DECT system.

This system also supports a rugged handset option to replace the rugged handset supported by Panasonic.

Updates - Cloud Business Fax

Single Sign-On for Cloud Business Fax

If you are enabled to sell the Cloud Business Fax solution (Fax Only), the Cloud Business Fax Customer Administration Portal is being updated to allow a customer to configure Microsoft as their Single Sign-On provider. See the Customer Administration Portal release notes for further details.

NOTE: This change affects ALL branded UCaaS Customer Administration Portals as well. Customers will now first enter their username by itself, then click Continue. They will be asked to enter their password unless this is a Cloud Business Fax customer and that customer has enabled Single Sign-On. In that case, they will be presented with a Microsoft login dialog instead of a Enter Password box.

Additional documentation on enabling the Single Sign-On feature will be available in the new Single Sign-On section in the Cloud Business Fax portal.
