      New features and updates for the Microsoft Operator Connect portal

      On August 12, 2024, the Microsoft Operator Connect portal will be updated with enhancements.

      Updates

      Added automation to number porting to handle cases where number was previously on Direct Routing

      When completing a port order in Microsoft Teams Operator Connect, numbers that were previously on a Direct Routing account will be migrated automatically.

      Enforce US DIDs for US addresses and Canadian DIDs for Canadian addresses

      This update includes full support for Canadian addresses. As part of Canadian address support and to align with Microsoft restrictions, US DIDs can only be assigned to locations with US addresses and Canadian DIDs can only be assigned to locations with Canadian addresses.
