Device End-of-Sale Notice for HP-Poly VVX 250/350/450/EM50

HP has announced End-of-Sale for a number of HP-Poly devices that we offer. End-of-Support dates generally extend for several years after the End-of-Sale date. End-of-Sale does not mean that existing devices must be replaced. We’ll continue to support these as long as they are supported by the manufacturer.

The following devices are going End-of-Sale on the dates noted below, along with their suggested replacement devices for new orders.

As a reminder, the Panasonic TGP600 DECT phone system will no longer be supported as of 12/31/2024. All remaining devices need to be on a path to be replaced before these are removed at the end of December. The recommended replacement device is the Yealink W76P DECT phone system.

Updates - Cloud Business Fax

Allow Reassignment of Cloud Fax Personal Services

For Personal Fax packages in the Cloud Business Fax solution, those accounts can now be reassigned to a different user.

A warning is noted that when reassigning a personal fax account, all current faxes on the account will be removed. This is to prevent a new user from getting access to faxes they shouldn’t.

Updates - Operator Connect for Partners

Adding in 2FA support for customer logins

Your customers can now enable 2FA support on their accounts for Operator Connect. If they already have an account, login, then click your Profile in the upper right corner to get started.

NOTE: You must login directly at the customer. Launching an account for support purposes from Atlas does not allow you to see the end-customers 2FA setup.

To enable, toggle the Status to On to begin the 2FA setup process. Follow the instructions using an iPhone or Android authenticator app such as Google Authenticator.

Once setup, logout and then log back in. Once you enter your username and password at the login screen, you’ll be asked to enter a code from your authenticator app to complete the login.

To disable, toggle the Status to off. You can also Delete the 2FA setup if you want to set this up with a different app for example.

Numbers can now be held in reserve

Numbers that your customers want to keep but aren’t currently using can now be moved to the Reserved Number list and will incur a reduced cost when just holding the number in this state. When a number is moved to the Reserved Numbers list, it must stay there for 24 hours before being able to be used again. Numbers can be moved to Reserved one number at-a-time or in bulk. To move a single number, edit the number and then click the new Reserve Number button.

This will move the number to the Reserved Numbers tab.

To move a number back to in service, locate the number you want to activate in the Reserved Numbers tab. Edit the number and at the bottom of the dialog, click Activate.

Note this will add the number the Local Numbers tab and begin billing the number as an regular DID number. Edit the number again in Local Numbers and enable any features needed on that number.

Numbers can also be moved to Reserved and back via bulk processing. Go to the Bulk update section and a new option to Move to Restore/Active is available. Click the option and then click the Download CSV link to get a template to update. This template will contain your existing numbers. Update the numbers needed to the correct status and then upload again and follow the prompts. Moving the numbers to either Reserved or back to Active will be done in the background.
