Getting Started with Sinch Calling for Zoom Phone

Short guide to getting started with the Sinch Calling for Zoom Phone portal

It's easy to get started - just find us in the Zoom App Marketplace

All Zoom phone users who wish to engage with Sinch for their telephony provider must go through an onboarding process. To start that process, search for "Sinch Calling for Zoom Phone" in the Zoom App Marketplace and click on Add.

This will direct you to information about our product offering. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Talk to an expert" form. Fill out the required information to get started!

Once your information has been submitted through the web page the Sinch sales team will contact you to design and approve a sales order to submit for order processing. Upon finalization/submission you will receive an email invitation for onboarding to Sinch Calling for Zoom Phone. Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email invitation to create your portal account.

Step 1:  Getting Started in Sinch Portal 

All new customers of Sinch will go through an onboarding process. Once that process is complete, the primary user will get an email inviting them to join the Sinch Calling for Zoom Phone Administration Portal. Click the Login to the Portal button in the mail to be taken to the main login page. On first entry, you'll be asked to create your password in order to activate your account.

Once complete, log into the portal using your email address and your new password.

Step 2: Authenticating with Zoom

To associate your zoom account with Sinch Administration Portal, users will need to Authenticate using the Zoom credential. Once authenticated, the accounts will remain connected through an OAUTH connection. As numbers are ordered, they will be added to Zoom account right away. They are fully provisioned and ready to be assigned and used within the Zoom portal.

By clicking on the Authenticate button, the system will redirect to Zoom and prompt you to enter you Zoom username and password. This should be a Zoom administrator on your Zoom account. Any 2FA/MFA associated with your Zoom account will also occur.

Once complete, the Sinch Customer portal will show the authentication is valid, the day it was last updated and who completed it. The Authentication will expire periodically and must renewed.
