User Guide for the HP-Poly Edge E Expansion Module
The HP-Poly® Edge E Expansion Module supports 66 additional line keys per module, perfect for admins or others that need to handle a larger number of calls. This guide is designed to help you use your new HP-Poly® Edge E Expansion Module.

Powering a Second Expansion Module with Edge E500 Series
To power a second expansion module on Edge E500 Series phones, you must power the phone using PoE+ (802.3at) or an AC adapter.
The following features are available on the HP-Poly Edge E Expansion Module:
- Color LCD 480 × 854 pixel display
- Up to 66 programmable keys with 22 line keys on 3 display pages
- LED indicators for line keys and page keys
- Side USB port for connecting and charging low-powered devices, such as a USB headset
Note: If the phone can’t power a USB device connected to the expansion module, the phone powers down the expansion module until the user disconnects the USB device.
