How to remove a former employee from the CAP

When an employee leaves your company, you should free up any services that had been assigned to them.

  1. As an Admin, log into the CAP. Locations > All locations and then find the number/seat profile of the employee that has been removed.
  2. On the right-hand sign click the re-assign button.
  3. Then re-assign the extension to a user that is currently within the company or that will be their replacement for the time being (this means that any time that the existing number is called, it will be directed to the new user)
  4. Then go to Administration > Administration and access and remove the profile for the user. This in turn will remove their access to the CAP.
